My father, Ryan Bezerra, is a water attorney and recently released a textbook detailing various relevant cases in the history of water law in California. To aid with understanding the cases for the reader, he enlisted me to create maps specifically to be used in the book. The process involved working off of pre-existing maps of these areas, communicating with my father to best understand what is the most important information to emphasize, and figuring out how to most effectively convey said meaning.
